The description of where to meet to begin the tour needs to be updated. There is nothing called “books and books” or “Aria” listed on any signs. We waiting inside the cafe with another couple that was on the tour because they didn’t know where to meet either. Finally our guide texted us to say they were sitting outside under the black and white striped umbrella. That would have been a better description on the event page. Overall, great guide, history shared, and food!

I loved the food tour! It was fascinating to learn about the history of Miami and the stops chosen for the food tour were excellent! Particularly enjoyed the Lomo Santado at the Peruvian placd- the meat was succulent and extremely tasty! Our tour guide Sol was lovely! Really friendly and so informative. Would highly recommend the tour!

A very nice local guide let us learn about the interesting history, culture and architecture of South Beach. It was a nice walk enjoying the nature, boulevard atmospher and building architecture on the way. We stopped at places to taste different food of internacional cousines and try an amazing cuban sándwich and delicius peruvian meal. Recomend this tour.

Food was great and our tour guide Gary was a pleasure. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. He definitely enjoyed his job and we enjoyed him.

The cuban restaurant- all was good. The kosher ice cream ending was excellent. The rest was just average. The first restaurant was not anything exceptional. The peruvian restaurant was good but food that I've had several times. Could have been shorter.

Sol was great - very sweet, knowledgeable and fun. We had a small group which was very nice. Food was good, not exceptional but the stories and history made up for it!

Our tour guide was fantastic and super knowledgeable about Miami Beach history. I very much enjoyed hearing about the area but for me the history almost took center stage over the food. I did enjoy our tastings but nothing was amazing. Like another reviewer posted, I was also not a big fan of the shared plate approach that they had at a few of our stops. I would rather a small individual serving be provided. I felt that at times the tour could have moved along faster, having said that we did end about 30 min early. I left feeling satisfied but not like I had tried anything new/special. Itinerary/stops were slightly different than what was posted online, we went to 4 stops.

Our tour guide Sol was AMAZING!!! She provided lots of historical information about the city and exposed us to the best local shops. If you’re going to explore Miami Beach do it with this tour and Sol as your guide, you won’t regret it!

Sol was a wonderful guide for our group of 11. We really enjoyed hearing about the food and culture and history of South Beach and Sol was so knowledgeable and engaging. We loved the Cuban cafe and Peruvian cuisine. Only suggestion is to replace the fifth stop instead of combining two stops.

We had the most delightful day! The food, the history and the fellowship all delivered above our expectations. Our guide was Sol and she was so informative and even gave use recommendations that made the rest of our stay in South Beach, one we will never forget.
