TOUR REQUIREMENTS*
All riders must wear a helmet (your own or provided by Philly by Segway).
All riders must bring valid identification.
All riders must read and sign a waiver of liability.
Segway riders must be 12-years-old or older. If a rider is under 18, they must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult who can sign the waiver form.
All riders must weigh between 100lbs - 300lbs.
All riders must complete Segway training to their guide's satisfaction.
RECOMMENDED ATTIRE*
Please keep in mind that you will be standing for the duration of your tour - these recommendations are for your comfort and safety:
Wear comfortable but not loose clothing.
Wear secure, flat, comfortable shoes, preferably close-toed sneakers or athletic shoes. Flip-flops, high heels, or wedges are not appropriate.
DRESS FOR THE WEATHER - we ride rain or shine. If it is a cold day, dress as if you are going skiing (gloves, hat, coat, etc.). If it is a hot, sunny day, wear sunscreen, bring sunglasses, and a water bottle. You will be outside for the duration of your tour.
YOUR TOUR*
Please arrive early. We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before your scheduled tour time.
After you check in, there will be a 30 minute training session including an instructional video. You must complete this training to your guide's satisfaction - even if you've ridden a Segway before.
Once everyone is trained and feels confident riding a Segway, we start the tour!

Our guide was Sophia who is a native Philadelphian attending Penn. Besides being very personable, she was very informative and extremely safety conscientious especially in dealing with Philly drivers. The tour was a great way to see old city Philly while Sophia gave background info and historical tidbits along the ride. Our first time riding a Segway and we highly recommend the tour. We look forward to doing the cheesesteak tour in the Spring.

This tour was a really fun experience. I wasn’t sure how hard it would be to pick this up but it was easy. We saw a lot in an hour. My 12 year old had no problem. Good time had by all.

Barry was our guide and he was terrific. He was very patient with our small group of four and made sure we were all comfortable using the Segway before we headed out on our tour. He also was very attentive during the tour. Highly recommend.

“D” was our guide. We enjoyed his enthusiasm. We are a couple in our 70s. We had no trouble at all learning to use the Segway. D’s instructions were excellent and confidence built quickly. We travelled with earbuds that enabled us to hear D’s commentary the whole way. A fun adventure, for sure.

Terrific tour with a great host! Uaphi kept us moving at a great pace, educated us about the sights of the city and courteously navigated traffic and pedestrians. A great experience made amazing by the pictures taken by our guide, shared at the end of the trip. Fun and informative!

Philadelphia Segway Tour - What a GREAT way to see the city. Our Guide, Barry was EXCELLENT! Really knowledgeable about the City's history and great at conveying that while keeping us safe and organized on the tour. His instructions on the Segway were great and he was able to keep an eye out for everyone in our group (8 people must have stretched a 1/10 of a mile), IMPRESSIVE!!!! THANKS!

Highlight of our Philly visit. Barry's emphasis on safety made me feel more comfortable with riding a Segway. He was extremely knowledgeable about Philly and told interesting and engaging stories about the city. Highly recommended. Would definitely do this tour again the next time we are in Philly!

Outstanding! “D” “, our tour guide, was patient, kind, respectful & extremely knowledgeable of Philly! It was a stellar experience due to D’s service & leadership. This is an excellent and very fun way to get an overview of what the city has to offer, understand the various neighborhoods & parts of this city. Thank you!
