This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Pisgah National Forest, Pisgah Forest, NC

We will drive from meeting point to a point determined based on skill level, weather and requests. We typically hike 3-5 miles with 45 minutes of travel both ways. Based on time we will stop at a waterfall too for 10-15minutes prior of after the hike.

Greg is a fabulous guide! We use private guides whenever we travel, usually a city tour. On our recent trip to Asheville we had Greg guide us on a 4 mile hike through the Pisgah National Forest and the Middle Prong Wilderness. His knowledge is superb and he shared fascinating information with us throughout our time with him. He also took lots of photos of us out on the trail then uploaded them to us afterward. He supplied snacks, water and gatorade. He is probably the best private guide we have ever encountered. Strongly recommended!!!

An unforgettable hike! This was our first time here in Asheville. We could tell our guide Greg, truly loved what he did. Greg’s enthusiasm was overflowing as he made sure all of his hikers could see and experience the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains! He knew where all the best secrets were located, he was professional and ensured we were all safe at all times!! We used trek poles as this is how we hike ; Greg had no problem with that.Highly, highly recommend this hike!

I came to Asheville as a solo traveler looking for a break from a stressful job. I thought that spending some time in nature, surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains, would be exactly what I needed, and this hike gave me exactly that. Greg is a local and knows what he’s doing. He has everything planned out for you, so all you have to do is show up. He brings snacks, he takes pictures so you can enjoy the view without worrying about documenting it, and he brings tons of knowledge of the area. I’m not the most experienced hiker in the world, but that didn’t matter—this hike is for all levels, and it is the perfect thing for any traveler looking to reconnect with the great outdoors and meet some new friends in the process. Highly, highly recommend!

Best thing ever to do if you’re in Asheville. Greg had snacks, a pair of gloves if you need them, water and hiking poles. The experience is amazing. Greg was so kind and knowledgeable about the species of plants and animals within the area. 10/10!

It was a WOW half-day experience hiking with Greg! His genuine love of everything nature translates into a 1st class experience for those of us who are fortunate enough to spend time on mountain trails with him. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of the mountain area and shares it with friendly enthusiasm and professionalism. My daughter and I were so enriched by our time with him that we're returning in two weeks for another hike.

Greg, our guide was excellent. Great pace and great hike. Greg was extremely knowledgeable, took great pictures for us and also gave us recommendations on restaurants etc. in the area. The hike was just beautiful!

I always wanted to hike in the Blue Ridge Mountains.I met Greg,my guide and the company owner,who is both personable and knowledgeable and we were together 3.5 hours and hiked to the top of Black Balsam Mountain where u experience a 360 degree view of the Blue Ridge and Great Smokey mountains.awesome.the hike is a workout and challenging but not difficult.Greg also takes you to other vista points and interesting sites.i very highly recommend this tour.rick from Montana
